私たちの研究室では、微生物や動物のロドプシンファミリーをはじめとする、光のエネルギーで働くタンパク質のメカニズムについて研究を行っています。またそれらの知見をもとに生物を光で操作するオプトジェネティクスへの応用についても取り組んでいます。
